The landscape of oil recovery continues to evolve, driven by the integration of advanced technologies across both conventional and tight reservoir environments. This session will cover a range of technically significant topics, including the deployment of permanent downhole pressure gauges for high-resolution reservoir characterization, strategies for precision well placement in thin, heterogeneous carbonate reservoirs, and well testing analysis near fault zones. Furthermore, the session will delve into the application of deep learning models for interpreting multiphase flow dynamics, enabling improved predictive capabilities and optimization of recovery processes. Complementing these technical discussions, global case studies will be presented to illustrate the practical implementation and measurable impact of these innovations on field development and recovery efficiency.
