Delivering Energy for Today and Tomorrow in the Gulf of America

Wednesday, 6 May
Room 306
Panel
bp has been a driving force in the deepwater Gulf of America—one of the most prolific offshore regions in the world. As one of the largest investors and producers in the basin, bp is doubling down on its commitment to deliver safe, reliable, and increasingly efficient energy. This panel will explore bp’s bold strategy to grow its Gulf of America production to over 400,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day by 2030. Attendees will gain insight into how bp is maximizing output from its five flagship platforms—Argos, Atlantis, Thunder Horse, Mad Dog, and Na Kika—through cutting-edge technologies and near-term expansion projects. Looking ahead, bp is preparing for a new wave of growth in the Paleogene, including the recently announced Kaskida platform, which will anchor the next phase of development. The session will highlight how digital innovation, subsea advancements, and relentless engineering are enabling bp to unlock complex reservoirs and deliver energy with greater precision and safety.
