Fueling the Future and Powering the World

Monday, 4 May
General Session Stage - Exhibit Hall A
Executive Dialogue

The global energy landscape is currently defined by a challenging paradox: the urgent need to power the world’s increasing energy needs while simultaneously providing basic energy access to the most impoverished populations. Countries around the world are facing the dual necessity of maintaining energy security while evolving the infrastructure required for a high-tech future central to many economies. Central to these challenges are geopolitical and economic shifts such as the shale revolution that transformed the United States into a leading energy producer, fundamentally altering global trade dynamics and market stability.

Join us for what will be a very interesting discussion for approaching these challenges both domestically and internationally including such questions as:

  • Can the success of the shale revolution in the US be translated to other countries?
  • Can it be de-risked enough to be successful?
  • How will advanced AI data centers impact deliverability for other energy needs?
  • What role does additional offshore development have in the US energy mix?
  • Is a resurgence on the horizon? What conditions are necessary to continue incentivizing LNG export development on both US coasts and Alaska?
  • What role does the US DOE play in energy development outside of the US?
