Keynote Speaker Series
As the United States continues to lead global LNG exports, the U.S. Gulf Coast has emerged as the primary hub for large-scale liquefaction and marine loading infrastructure. This keynote examines the engineering and execution of LNG export facilities at the interface between onshore processing and offshore marine operations. Drawing on project delivery experience, the presentation highlights lessons learned in coastal siting, berth and jetty design, modular construction, and the application of digital tools. It also addresses how evolving market conditions—including increased vessel traffic, greater commercial flexibility, and the need for rapid turnaround—are shifting operational constraints toward marine systems. The session provides insights into the design and delivery of resilient infrastructure in complex coastal environments and outlines considerations for the next generation of LNG export facilities.
