This technical session explores the critical standards necessary to commercialize emerging technologies and new energy opportunities in the offshore space. As companies look to develop new energy projects, including geothermal, wind, wave, and tidal power, the offshore energy industry needs to update existing standards. Speakers from various backgrounds will present how standards will ensure the safety and reliability of these offshore installations and foster interoperability among diverse systems and stakeholders. From mitigating operational risks to optimizing energy production efficiency, this session will showcase how updated standards pave the way for new and emerging offshore energy projects.
