CANCELLATION POLICY
Registration cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to registration@otcnet.org and must be received on or before 5:00 p.m. Central Time on 2 April 2026 to receive a refund, minus a USD 25 administrative processing fee. Cancellation requests received after 2 April 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Central Time are not eligible for a refund.
No refunds will be provided for no-shows. If you do not attend and fail to provide written notification in advance of the first day of the event, you will not be eligible for a refund. By registering for the event, you agree to comply with the terms outlined in this cancellation policy. Please note that refunds will not be granted if you receive a complimentary guest invitation. No exceptions.
Student registrations are subject to a USD 10 administrative processing fee for cancellations.
There are no refunds for OTC ancillary event tickets.
* Membership in any of the OTC sponsoring, endorsing, supporting, or invited organizations.
** Proceedings must be purchased separately. Proceedings are available digitally through OnePetro®. Access codes will be emailed to those who register prior to 28 April 2026. If you register after 28 April, your proceeding access code will be emailed to you after the event. The OTC 2026 Conference Proceedings will only be available for purchase through the registration link until Thursday, 7 May 2026. After 7 May 2026, this year’s papers will be available to be purchased individually in OnePetro.
If you are participating in the technical program you will receive a link to register from the OTC Program Manager, which must be used in order to receive the complimentary registration rate.
SUBSTITUTION POLICY
Substitution/replacement registrations are offered as a one-time courtesy as long as a badge has not been printed. Replacing a registered OTC attendee with a business colleague or co-worker will be accepted.
OTC 2026 RFID DATA COLLECTION STATEMENT
OTC show management is using RFID technology at OTC 2026 to help gauge participation levels at OTC educational events and industry engagement activities. The aggregated data collected will be used to better understand attendee engagement and to help guide the development of future event enhancements. Data collected through this process does not include any personally identifying information (PII).
The RFID tag only contains the registration ID. The data provided can be delivered in a manner that does not expose PII. Participation levels including data that differentiates between exhibitor activity and attendee activity during the show as well as activity specific to certain demographic attributes can be accomplished without risk of exposing PII.
