The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) is the world’s premier event where energy professionals gather to share ideas, drive innovation, and advance the technical and scientific knowledge needed to responsibly develop offshore resources.

Founded in 1969, OTC’s global portfolio includes its flagship event in Houston, along with OTC Brasil and OTC Asia. Together, these events have welcomed more than 3 million professionals and continue to serve as the industry’s most trusted platforms for collaboration, insight, and connection.

OTC ranks among the top 100 trade shows in the United States and is recognized as one of the 50 largest meetings in the country. The event is developed by 15 leading industry organizations and societies, with additional support from endorsing and collaborating organizations—ensuring a technical program that reflects the depth and diversity of the offshore energy sector.

Board of Directors

Members of the OTC Board are appointed to four-year terms by their respective society or organization. The OTC Board includes 14 representatives, 12 from OTC's sponsoring organizations and two from OTC's endorsing organizations. The two principal officers, the Chair and the Vice Chair, are elected for two-year terms by the Board during their annual meeting.
