About OTC

The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) is where energy professionals meet to exchange ideas and opinions to advance scientific and technical knowledge for offshore resources and environmental matters.

OTC’s global events, including its flagship Houston event, OTC Brasil, and OTC Asia, have welcomed more than 3 million professionals. It is the largest and most prestigious platform where industry leaders converge to exchange ideas, explore the latest innovations, and build invaluable connections. OTC ranks among the largest 100 trade shows held annually in the United States and is among the 50 largest meetings.

OTC is supported by 15 industry organizations and societies, who work cooperatively to develop the technical program. OTC also has endorsing and supporting organizations.

The 2024 Offshore Technology Conference attracted more than 30,000 attendees from 107 countries reinforcing OTC’s status as the premiere global energy and innovation conference amid rising energy demand. This
growing international presence highlights OTC's expanding influence and importance within the offshore energy sector, highlighted further by the presence of 205 media and press.


A breathtaking exhibit hall floor attracted 14 international pavilions and almost 1,300 exhibitors across 257,350+ sq ft to make connections and showcase their products and services with global energy leaders and experts.

Who We Are

OTC is a collaboration of *15 non-profit organizations that support the global energy sector. Our organizations work cooperatively to develop and manage a portfolio of events dedicated to accelerating the development and transfer of interdisciplinary offshore technologies. Revenue from our portfolio is returned to our sponsoring organizations which benefit the advancement of their members and the energy sector.
